GeoNetix Management

John R. Seifarth is the founder and president of GeoNetix. He possess an extensive history of providing professional civil, ecological and environmental services to the electric generation, fossil fuel resource development, steel producing and commercial real estate business sectors. Mr. Seifarth has successfully executed mapping application development and customization using both AutoDesk and ESRI products including web-based custom interface design. He has developed complex business software and computer application for linear referencing of stream habitat data utilizing dynamic segmentation (ESRI ArcInfo). Mr. Seifarth has also provided expert testimony for an ecological and water quality permit appeal for large urban development in the City of Pittsburgh. He has also performed database design and data model development in response to complex land and regulatory compliance business needs.

Mr. Seifarth has broad knowledge of both the natural gas and coal production and power generation industries within the Appalachian Basin. He has provided technical consulting services to this industry for over two decades. His areas of expertise include land and mapping, natural resources assessment and water compliance.

Mr. Seifarth obtained his Bachelors of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix at the Robinson Township, PA campus. He completed undergraduate studies at Ohio Wesleyan University and the University of Pittsburgh as well. He has extensive project management and professional practice training through the Association of Soil and Foundation Engineers (ASFE). He has participated in numerous ethics certification programs and takes pride in his record of ethical conduct. Mr. Seifarth also serves on the Board of Elders at Allegheny Center Alliance Church on the Northside of Pittsburgh. He lives in the North Hills of Pittsburgh with his wife and two sons.
